Fiscal Transparency Innovation Fund Program Regional Debates 2023

The Love Foundation invites you to the Fiscal Transparency Innovation Fund Grants Program: Bolstering the Independence of the Office of the Auditor General to Support Greater Fiscal Transparency and Accountability (FTIF) Projects Regional Debates.

The Southern Regional Debate will be held on November 23rd, 2023, at the Russel Chiste Garcia Auditorium in Dangriga Town from 9am to midday.

The Central Regional Debate will be held on November 25th, 2023, at the University of Belize – Belmopan Campus – Jaguar Auditorium in the City of Belmopan from 9am to midday.

The debates will focus on building public support and awareness of the OAG’s role in combatting corruption by empowering the citizenry to hold the government accountable for fiscal transparency, reduced corruption, and promote effective fiscal management.

Debate Question: Should the Office of the Auditor General be independent?

Debates will be televised and can be viewed via Love FM Belize Facebook and local tv network.

Youth Ambassador Program 2023

The 2023 Youth Ambassador Program is here again and applications are now open.

YAP is a great opportunity for high school students and youth mentors to develop their leadership skills, build their awareness of current global issues and learn new cultures.
