The Love Foundation is honored to have been selected to partner with World Learning, Georgetown University and the United States Department of State Cultural Affairs Bureau to host Belize’s first Youth Ambassador Alumni Training.
The weekend kicks off with a welcome reception at Banana Bank Resort on Friday, August 16th. Managing Director, Deborah Sewell, will provide the welcome address, U.S Embassy Charge d’ Affaires, Keith Gilges and U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Officer, Natella Svistunova will also be in attendance and are scheduled to speak at the event.
Twenty nine past Youth Ambassador participants will engage in information workshops throughout the remainder of the weekend and will gain valuable skills necessary to identify opportunities to strengthen and uplift their communities.
These participants join a network of more than 125,000 alumni across the World Learning Inc. family of programs. Each year eleven youth and one mentor is selected from Belize and join a group of 2,000 emerging leaders in the the United States on youth, academic, cultural and professional exchanges.
